KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches have come out with its final rankings for the 2017 season, placing the Virginia Wesleyan University women’s soccer team at 24th in the country. The Marlins had received votes in the previous two polls, this being the first time of the year to crack the top-25.
Senior Zoe Traficante and junior Brooke Adamchak were named all-region selections on Wednesday as United Soccer Coaches announced its annual awards. Traficante was a First Team All-South Atlantic Region pick while Adamchak garnered All-South Atlantic Second Team laurels.
The Virginia Wesleyan University women's soccer team saw its season end in the second round of the NCAA Tournament with a 3-0 defeat by TCNJ.
