VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. – The Virginia Wesleyan University women’s soccer team has unveiled its schedule for the upcoming 2018 season. The Marlins will compete in 18 matches, hosting eight of the them right at Trinder Stadium. Virginia Wesleyan finished last season with a record of 15-7-1, winning the ODAC regular season and also making it past the first round of the NCAA Championship. The Marlins also ended its season ranked No. 24 in the nation.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches have come out with its final rankings for the 2017 season, placing the Virginia Wesleyan University women’s soccer team at 24th in the country. The Marlins had received votes in the previous two polls, this being the first time of the year to crack the top-25.
Senior Zoe Traficante and junior Brooke Adamchak were named all-region selections on Wednesday as United Soccer Coaches announced its annual awards. Traficante was a First Team All-South Atlantic Region pick while Adamchak garnered All-South Atlantic Second Team laurels.
