VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The two-time National Champion Virginia Wesleyan University softball team has announced its camp dates for the summer of 2019. The Marlins are offering a multitude of different camps for a number of different age groups.

Mini Marlins Day Camp (June 17-20):
This camps provides beginner, intermediate and advanced instruction to athletes ages 6-12. Players will focus on developing proper hitting, throwing and fielding techniques.
College Dreams Pitcher/Catcher Camp (July 8):
This specialized camp is for pitchers and catchers that are serious about their future in softball. Directed towards rising 7th graders – high school seniors, athletes will focus on in-depth review of their mechanics, using drills and video analysis to best assist them as they move forward. Campers who attend will not only receive instruction from Marlin Head Coach Brandon Elliott and his staff, but also from coaches from James Madison University, Norfolk State University and Radford University.
College Dreams Youth Pitcher/Catcher Camp (July 8):
The same as the previous camp but directed towards athletes ages 6-12
Marlin Softball Hitting Academy (July 22-24):
This camp will provide beginner, intermediate and advanced softball hitting instruction. Campers will receive instruction on proper hitting mechanics through the use of drills, tee work, cage work as well as live batting practice.
College Dreams Hitting Camp (August 5-7):
Designed for athletes in 7th grade - high school seniors, this camp will serve as way to not only learn and improve on techniques but also as a place for players to showcase their talents. Hosted by a plethora of coaches from up and down the East Coast, this camp will cover advanced hitting mechanics and drills used at the collegiate level. Hitters will receive instruction through lecture, drill, tee work, cage work and will also have the opportunity to hit live on the field.
